At HomeCabinets.com, we are committed to maintaining a well-stocked inventory and ensuring efficient order processing. All orders are shipped from our multiple warehouses in Houston, Texas.

Shipping Carriers

We select the most efficient shipping carrier based on order size and weight:

  • USPS Ground – Primarily for samples and small parts.
  • FedEx Ground – Primarily for single-item shipments or orders with fewer than five items, provided each item weighs less than 125 lbs. and is no longer than 90 inches in length.
  • Estes Express (Truck Freight) – Used for multiple-item orders shipped on pallets.

Estimated Delivery Time

Total Delivery Time = Processing Time + Transit Time

Processing Time

  • Standard Orders: Processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.
  • Customized or Large Orders: Processed and shipped within 2-5 business days.
  • Backordered or Delayed Items: If an item is out of stock or delayed, customers will be promptly notified with an estimated restock or revised shipping timeline.

Estimated Transit Times (Lower 48 States)

  • USPS Ground: 2–14 days
    Use the USPS Service Calculator for specific delivery times based on your route.
  • FedEx Ground: 2–10 days
    For more accurate estimates, use the FedEx Transit Time Tool.
  • Estes (LTL Freight): 3–15 days
    For more accurate estimates, visit Estes Express and use their online tools.

Shipping Costs

Contiguous U.S. & Washington, D.C.:

  • Free shipping on all orders over $2,500.
  • For orders under $2,500, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination. Additional charges may apply for oversized items.
  • Cabinet sample doors ship free, but are limited to two units per color. Additional sample doors can be purchased at full price without free shipping.

Alaska & Hawaii:

Shipping costs are determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact customer support for a quote at Support@HomeCabinets.com.

Order Tracking

Customers will receive an email with tracking information once their order has been processed and shipped.

Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before shipment by contacting customer service. Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. Please refer to our Return Policy for further details.

Shipping Damage and Missing Items

We take great care in packaging and shipping all orders. However, damage may still occur in transit. Please follow the instructions below for reporting damaged or missing items:

Visible Damage

  • Any noticeable damage must be reported to the carrier upon delivery. If no signature is required upon receipt, please file an online notification with the carrier.
  • Report visible damage to us within 5 calendar days of delivery. Please document the damage with pictures of the package exterior and the damaged parts or cabinets.

Concealed Damage

  • If damage is discovered inside an undamaged box, please file an online notification with the carrier within 5 calendar days of delivery.
  • Report concealed damage to us within 15 calendar days of delivery. Document the damage thoroughly with pictures of the packing box, internal contents, and the damaged parts.

Missing Items

  • Notify us of any missing items within 7 calendar days of delivery. Missing item reports made after 7 calendar days will not be honored.
  • Pictures are generally required to support your claim.

Important Notes

  • Claims made after 15 calendar days cannot be honored, as shipping carriers do not accept late claims.
  • Do not assemble cabinets with damaged parts—doing so may result in a rejected claim. Please wait for replacement parts before proceeding with assembly.
  • We recommend taking photographs of the package before unpacking, during unpacking, and after unpacking as documentation.
